ERI is a specialized engineering school that focuses on solving hardware reliability and durability problems. ERI offers its engineering specialties at client facilities, at major cities and via distance learning. ERI specialists consult on specific problems.
Reliability Consulting

Here are some of Equipment Reliability Institute's (ERI) subject areas in which we can help you. Just click on the subjects that interest you and you will link to one or more ERI specialists. May we propose training at your facility? We also offer consulting assistance with specific problems, such as failure analysis, corrosion control, modal analysis and testing, NEBS testing, and the ruggedizing of commercial equipment to meet the military services demand for COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) defense equipment. Can we help you understand and comply with standards such as MIL-STD-810F? (please read V&S below as "vibration and shock").

  • Microcircuit manufacture and food handling, clean room, particle measurements and control
  • Servohydraulics for testing and for characterizing structures and materials

Onsite Training

You may wish onsite training for your designers and test personnel, "tailored" to your organization's needs. You are invited to see our Training page and check on our course outlines.

One of our specialists, Harry Schwab, is offering two new courses in "Developing Random Vibration Tests from Field Data" and "Introduction to Stress Analysis".

Distance Learning

Our new 1001 Distance Learning Program 2006 in vibration and shock testing has just been released. A CD-ROM with thousands of images, animations and video clips distributed into 33 Power Point lessons. You will learn basic theory, control, instrumentation, calibration, analysis and testing using shakers and shock test machines. Wayne Tustin is your "remote professor". Click here to learn more about this program.

Message Board

Your message board allows you and other visitors to discuss your reliability and durability situations, difficulties and experiences. Click here to start participating!

ERI just launched two new boards for job-related postings. If you're looking for a job or if you're offering a position at your company, check out the "For Job Seekers and Employers" boards.

Glossary
