James F. Jenkins James Frederick Jenkins is a professional engineer in Corrosion Engineering and is also certified as a Corrosion Specialist by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). At the moment he works as an independent consultant at Nickel Development Institute. At the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (former Naval Civil Engineering Laboratory), Jenkins perform research and development in the areas of metallurgy and corrosion technology directed toward the design operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment for the Naval Shore Establishment. Facilitate the application of metallurgical and corrosion technology to the Naval Shore Establishment through the development of criteria for the application of technology for design, construction, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment as well as through direct field assistance activities. As a consultant for the Nickel Development Institute, he is active in the technical areas of applications of nickel containing materials in the marine environment and in concrete structures. He has also attended several technical meetings as a representative of the Nickel Development Institute and have presented ten ½ day seminars on aqueous corrosion to industry representatives on behalf of the Nickel Development Institute. He has responded to many technical inquiries to the Nickel Development Institute regarding the application of nickel containing materials in the marine environment. Publications in books
